The St. Augustine Executive Strategy Retreat is a structured, advisor-facilitated annual planning engagement designed for C-suite leadership teams of small to mid-sized businesses. The retreat brings decision-makers out of their day-to-day environment and into a focused, professionally equipped setting in historic St. Augustine, Florida.
Scine & Associates LLC serves as both the venue host and the professional anchor of the engagement — providing conference space, hotel coordination, and CPA-led facilitation covering business strategy, accounting infrastructure, financial reporting, and lending readiness. This is not a generic offsite — it is a working session led by a licensed CPA and CGMA.
Two Iconic Components
The Lightner Museum Building
Originally built in 1887 as the Hotel Alcazar, this stunning Spanish Renaissance Revival structure was commissioned by Standard Oil magnate Henry Flagler as part of his grand vision to transform St. Augustine into "The Newport of the South."
Designed by renowned architects Carrère and Hastings — the same firm behind the New York Public Library — the building was once the largest indoor swimming pool in the world and hosted America's Gilded Age elite.
Today it is home to the Lightner Museum and a collection of private professional suites — including Suite 110, the conference room available to retreat clients of Scine & Associates.
