She began her accounting career in 1985 and, aside from a two-year break to run a home daycare, has worked continuously in the profession ever since. Her background includes roles at two CPA firms, where she gained experience in audit, client accounting, and system setup before joining Scine & Associates in 2015.

With exceptional speed, strong technological abilities, and a talent for diving into complex projects, Shannon has become a go-to problem solver within the firm. She enjoys the “puzzle” aspect of accounting — unraveling discrepancies, identifying solutions, and bringing clarity to complicated situations. Her deep understanding of accounting software and her ability to learn and configure systems make her an invaluable resource for both clients and colleagues. Known for being detail-oriented, dependable, and highly efficient, she consistently delivers high-quality work with a positive, team-focused attitude. And yes — she is almost always listening to an audiobook while doing it!

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys creating jewelry and sun catchers, exploring antique stores with her mom, fishing, and spending time in nature. At home, she loves relaxing with her dogs and cats, who are very much part of her daily joy.
